Kristen Crossney

Department: Public Policy and Admnistration

I welcome the opportunity to serve as WCU APSCUF Vice-President for a second term. I am committed to supporting and strengthening solidarity across our university. I have experience successfully working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and understand a variety of approaches and issues confronting faculty related to teaching and research.

I hope to continue to offer important perspectives to APSCUF and our CBA related to evaluation, interdisciplinary programs and distance education. I believe I have extensive experience in undergraduate and graduate education, both in traditional as well as online courses. I have experience serving as the College of Business and Public Affairs representative on the Tenure and Promotion Committee (TeP), as well as serving as evaluation committee chair and member to multiple departments. In my time here at WCU, I’ve been elected and served on the Executive Committees for Women’s and Gender Studies, and Youth Empowerment and Urban Studies.

Thank you for your consideration.
