Rules for the Election

    • This election is decided by a majority of the votes cast. If no candidate receives a majority, there will be a run-off election between the two top candidates. A tie in the second election will be settled by lot. If there is only one candidate, the candidate will be voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
    • Candidates are required to submit a written statement to the membership with their nomination. Statements should provide the candidate's philosophy, aims for office, and general attitude for the position sought.
    • Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may be nominated.
    • Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may vote in this election.

Blaise Frost


Department: Chemistry

I have done this job for several years now and I am not the best person for it. I do not particularly like doing it. Local APSCUF VP gets little or no thanks, essentially no appreciation or respect, and a lot of crummy jobs that no else likes to do. If you think you would be better than I at doing it or you are attracted to meaningless tasks that are more frequently ridiculed than admired, do not vote for me and nominate yourself.

If you have pity on a poor misguided soul and want to help me, do not vote for me.

If you are glad that you do not have to waste your time running for offices and writing statements that are not usually read, then you should vote for me.

I consider myself Cliff Johnston's insurance policy. No one would impeach him when I am VP.
