- This election is for APSCUF Treasurer. The rules for this
election are listed below.
- The nominees for the APSCUF Treasurer election are listed to the right.
The list to the right is not a ballot.
- This list in not official until nominations have been closed and the list of
nominees has been reviewed and verified by the APSCUF Nominations and Elections Committee.
- The statements the candidates
submitted with their nominations are given below. By clicking on a name
in the list of candidates, you will be taken to that candidate's statement.

Rules for the Election
- The term for this office is September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2003.
- This election is decided by a majority of the votes cast. If no candidate receives a majority, there will be a
run-off election between the two top candidates. A tie in the second election will be settled by lot. If there is
only one candidate, the candidate will be voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
- Candidates are required to submit a written statement to the membership with their nomination. Statements should
provide the candidate's philosophy, aims for office, and general attitude for the position sought.
- Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may be nominated.
- Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may vote in this election.

Department: ACCOUNTING I have been serving as the treasurer of APSCUF for over twenty years with a great enthusiasm and concern about the faculty interest. I have the honor to continue serving the faculty with the same enthusiasm in the capacity of the treasurer of APSCUF. Your support and confidence have given me full energy to protect the faculty interests as much as I can. Your vote showing the support of your APSCUF representative is very important to all of us. Department: Library Services APSCUF is and should continue to be committed to the providing the best possible education for all current and prospective students of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education within the context of fair, equitable, and collegial treatment of faculty and staff. Department: Kinesiology My introduction to APSCUF leadership began with temporary faculty issues. I had been a temporary faculty member at WCU that had recently been hired for a tenure track position. APSCUF leadership was searching for a former temp at WCU to help deal with temporary faculty issues here on campus. Since being recruited, I have learned the importance of APSCUF and would like to continue in a leadership capacity. My other APSCUF experiences include:
Member – WCU APSCUF Executive Committee – 3 years
Department Representative for the Local Delegate Assembly – 4 years
Delegate for State APSCUF Assembly – 3 years
Chair - Committee for Action through Politics – 3 months
Member - Campus Action Team
