Rules for the Election

    • The term for this office is September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2003.
    • This election is decided by a majority of the votes cast. If no candidate receives a majority, there will be a run-off election between the two top candidates. A tie in the second election will be settled by lot. If there is only one candidate, the candidate will be voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
    • Candidates are required to submit a written statement to the membership with their nomination. Statements should provide the candidate's philosophy, aims for office, and general attitude for the position sought.
    • Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may be nominated.
    • Only members of WCU APSCUF in good standing may vote in this election.

Department: Philosophy

My APSCUF experience includes about ten years as Department Delegate, work as APSCUF WCU CAP Chair, and service on State APSCUF Health and Welfare Committee and State APSCUF Legislation Committee. Currently I am a Department Delegate, State Delegate, and APSCUF WCU Recording Secretary. My view is strongly supportive of public higher education.
