Andrew Famiglietti

Department: English

Serving as PR chair for our chapter has given me a chance to start learning about the larger statewide APSCUF organization. It's also given me a chance to hear from many of my fellow members about their priorities for our union. I think this experience prepares me well to serve as a State Delegate.

Dear Colleagues, It would be an honor to continue to serve as a State Delegate. I have seen how our delegation is a truly committed group of people dedicated to serving the union, our faculty and the university. The assembly is an amazing opportunity to gather knowledge about the status of PASSHE while also making an impact. I feel honored to have worked in this position. Please consider voting for me so that I might continue my growth and contribution to the APSCUF State Assembly. WCU Proud, Union Faithful- CG

Michael Malcolm

Department: Economics & Finance

I have represented WCU as an APSCUF state delegate since 2014. In addition to attending state assemblies, I have taken on additional responsibilities related to my role as a state delegate. I worked on developing a faculty solidarity fund, worked on a task force organized by the chancellor that included BOG members, and am currently a member of the state-level budget committee. I would like to continue this important work.

I am currently the only delegate from the business school, which is an important perspective. My academic background and publications in game theory also provide insight into bargaining and negotiations. Finally, I have a track record of involvement with organized labor, including a job action at the University of Wisconsin in 2004.

I have always viewed this position as serving a dual purpose -- I aim to bring information from APSCUF to WCU, but also to represent WCU interests at the state level. I would be honored to receive your vote.

Victoria Tischio

Department: English

I would like to continue as an APSCUF State Delegate. My term expires this August. I'm a proud member of APSCUF-WCU with a long history of activism on campus and at the state level, including serving as picket chair for WCU when we went on strike and serving as the membership chair for the last four years.

I currently represent WCU on the State Meet and Discuss committee, where we meet monthly with the PASSHE administration to hash out issues before they become big problems and where we also advocate for faculty in a variety of ways, including against the recent round of retrenchments on other campuses. In order to continue in this capacity I need to be a State Delegate. I'm also running for the co-chair of the Arrangements Committee for the State Delegation. Again, I need to be a State Delegate to serve in this capacity.

I'm asking for your vote so I can continue my activism on behalf of the faculty at WCU and system-wide.
