  • This list in not official until nominations have been closed and the list of nominees has been reviewed and verified by the APSCUF Nominations and Elections Committee.

Rules for the Election

    • Seats for 1 Active + 3 Alternates
    • State Delegates are elected by a plurality of votes cast, with no delegate being elected with less than twenty-five percent of the ballots cast.
    • State Delegate seats will be filled by the candidates with the highest vote count until all seats are filled. The remaining candidates, ranked by highest vote count, will fill seats for Alternate State Delegate until all seats for alternates are filled.

Department: Theatre and Dance

Art side of the faculty to be the part of the State Delegates. I like to represent the art side of the faculty. If some important things are happened in other 13 universities, we should know them and we will let them know our news.

Joel Ressner


Department: Chemistry

I have been a delegate to the APSCUF State Legislative Assembly for several years. My major focus has been on curricular issues, especially those that would impact WCU's curricular and academic policies. I am also currently Chair of the APSCUF State Retirement Committee. Our charge is to investigate retirement programs and issues, monitor (in cooperation with the APSCUF State Legislative Committee) actions by the Chancellor's Office and the state legislature, and report concerns to the APSCUF State Legislative Assembly and the APSCUF Executive Committee. Chris Stangl


Department: Political Science

I am running because as a newer faculty member, I want to become involved. I am particulary interested in the APSCUF position as I was a member of a teaching assistant's union in graduate school and experienced more than one round of contentious negotiations there.

Ray Zetts


Department: Kinesiology

I have been a delegate or an alternate for the last 9 years. If elected, I plan on running for the State Executive Committee in order to avoid errors such as not endorsing Ed Rendell for Governor.
