Jen Bacon

Department: English

I have served as a local delegate for APSCUF for the past two years. This past year, I also served as an alternate to the State Assembly, traveling to the last two assembly meetings to represent West Chester. Through those experiences, I have learned how important our representation can and must be at the state level. Our current contract, though far from ideal, was the result of rigorous struggle on this campus and across the state, and it is critical that the voices of our diverse faculty make it to the state assembly. I have worked to keep the issue of Domestic Partner Benefits on the table, and I am committed to continuing to address issues of equity and fairness in the current contract and beyond. I appreciate your support.

Department: Theatre and Dance

I just finished my first term as a state delegate. I want to use this knowledge and experience to serve more effectively for the West Chester faculty. By attending the APSCUF legislative assembly, I can bring much information back to our campus. At the same time I am willing to convey your voice to the assembly.

Having served in the Assembly during the previous state APSCUF administration, I would appreciate the opportunity to work with the new state wide leadership team. I think we all agree that APSCUF needs to change dramatically to meet the economic and political challenges of the times.

Thank you for your consideration.

Rodney Mader

Department: English

I served as an alternate the State Assembly last year, and I served as a Local Delegate for two years prior to that. I would welcome the chance to serve the union at the state level, and I see opportunities in areas such as diversity issues, public relations, and political lobbying.

This is a great oppportunity for me to be a part of the "new" APSCUF, and to represent my University as well as my fellow 2003 promoted colleagues. I would appreciate your vote.

I am placing my name in nomination for the APSCUF State Delegate Assemby. I had the opportunity to serve for the past two years and I would like to continue to give service to the faculty in that capacity. I would appreciate your vote and your continued support. Thanks

Joel M. Ressner

Department: Chemistry

I have several years experience on the APSCUF State Legislative Assembly and have over the years focused on curriculum, distance education and health care as my main contractual issues. I have served as a member of the state APSCUF retirement committee as well as serving as the WCU CAPC Chair's representative to the statewide APSCUF Ad Hoc Committee on Academic Issues. I hope that you will allow me to continue serving as a WCU representative to the APSCUF State Legislative Assembly.
