Harvey Greisman

Department: Anthropology-Sociology

Since my hire in 1979, I have tried to contribute my time and resources as best I could: I would like to mention that I have represented my department at Local Delegate Assembly, been a member of CAP, and served as a State Delegate. I have also represented APSCUF on the Parking Committee, and was elected to a term on TEPSL. I hope to have the opportunity to be of further service in the future.

Joan M. Polka

Department: Counseling and Psychological Services

My experience as a State Delegate, meeting union leaders and members from throughout the system, hearing them consider difficult points and seeing them apply their considerable acumen, confirms my belief that such knowledgeable, robust, union representation is vital to out interest. On campus I am involved in our Local Delegate Assembly, Executive Council, Meet and Discuss and our Social Justice (formerly Gender Issues) Committee. I would relish the opportunity to continue to serve as a State Delegate, especially now as we negotiate our next contract and face state budget constraints.

Ray Zetts

Department: Kinesiology

I have had the opportunity to be a Delegate to the State Assembly for the last 4 years. I would like to continue to represent the WCU Faculty in this position. The postion of state delegate also allows me to serve as a more effective CAP (Committee for Action through Politics) Chair. Attendance at the State Assembly assists me in gaining political perspective and aids in gauging the political climate. Thanks for the opportunity to represent our faculty.
